Segal McCambridge , a respected national litigation firm, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our General Liability Practice Group . This is a fully remote position , open to attorneys located anywhere in the U.S., provided you hold an active California law license . A dual license in any additional state is highly preferred .

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain meaningful litigation experience on high-stakes cases while working alongside nationally recognized trial attorneys.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our team, you’ll work on a wide variety of complex civil defense matters, including:

• Premises and habitability claims
• Warranty and other high-exposure litigation

From day one, you’ll receive hands-on experience: drafting pleadings, arguing motions, conducting depositions, managing discovery, and appearing in court. You’ll be mentored by experienced partners and given room to grow in a supportive, high-performance environment.

This is a fully remote role , with potential for travel to attend depositions, hearings, trials, or team events as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Active license to practice law in California (required)
• Dual license in any other U.S. state (highly preferred)
• At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation (defense preferred)
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
• Experience drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and managing motion practice
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach
