Job Title: Behavior Technician - Empowering Children with Developmental Disabilities

Location: Fairfax, VA

• ABA Students & Fieldwork Seekers: If you're an ABA student working towards your BCBA certification, this is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable fieldwork hours.
• Experienced Behavior Technicians: We welcome seasoned technicians who are ready to bring their expertise to a growing clinic and help make a significant impact in the community.
• Passionate Individuals: No formal experience? No problem! If you have experience working with children with developmental disabilities (personal or volunteer-based), we'll provide all the training and support you need to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Work one-on-one with children in clinical, home, and community settings to help them develop essential life skills.
• Collect and record detailed data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, parents, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist children in developing communication, social, and adaptive skills for greater independence.

Travel Requirements:

• The position requires the flexibility to travel between the clinic and clients' homes within Fairfax and nearby areas as needed to provide services in different settings.
• Reliable transportation is a must.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a background check.
• A passion for working with children with developmental disabilities is essential.
