**Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper**
**Location: Beltsville, MD**
**Department: Administration**
**Reports to: Director of Finance**

**Job Summary:**
We are excited to invite applications for a part-time Bookkeeper position! Our growing restaurant group, with locations in Maryland, New Jersey, and Washington, DC, is looking for an experienced individual to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing our inventory-related financial records, tracking costs, reconciling accounts, and providing valuable financial insights to support our decision-making processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks and accrual-based accounting is essential for success in this position.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Inventory Management & Financial Tracking:**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records while tracking food and beverage costs.
- Reconcile inventory purchases, usage, and waste to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities by analyzing inventory trends.

**Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting:**
- Record daily transactions related to inventory, ensuring proper documentation and categorization.
- Generate and review financial reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes related to inventory purchases.

**Compliance & Organization:**
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial best practices.
- Collaborate with management to enhance inventory control processes and improve financial reporting efficiency.
- Maintain organized inventory records for easy access and review.

**Qualifications:**

**Experience:**
- Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Proficiency with TOAST POS and QuickBooks is highly desired.

**Skills:**
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends in inventory and expenses.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

**Work Environment:**
- This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days onsite at the restaurant and 1 day remote.
- The position involves working in both an office and restaurant setting, with opportunities to interact with kitchen and management teams.
- A flexible schedule is available, with the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
