Responsibilities:

• The position will teach lessons during studio hours of Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 9:30 pm, & Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
• Direct existing students on their current dance plan and help define new student dance plans.
• Follow and improve the specified syllabus.
• Coordinate schedule and follow-up with students and parents of students.
• Attend various dance competitions throughout the calendar year.
• Be inclusive to all customers of DB Studios, enhancing the community experience.
• Ability to be on time for lessons and demonstrate consistency. "On-time" means to be prepared for lessons at the start time of the lesson.
• Choreograph student routines. Ranges from solo to large group performances. 
• Support other teachers and choreographers with improving students technique or choreography. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Candidates should have a strong work ethic.
• Be open to feedback.
• 5+ years of experience as a dance instructor OR formal dance degree from college or university.
• Sales experience 
• Experience with one or more styles of dance including: Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Competitive Dance, Acrobatic Arts, Hip-hop.
