Job Description
Vertraus Inc, a Farmers Branch, TX based IT Solutions and Services Firm has multiple
openings for JOB ID 11712: Database Engineer.
Job duties include:
Manage and maintain databases, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
Perform essential database administration tasks, including backups, recovery, and
storage management.
Support enterprise applications by overseeing patching, upgrades, and migration
activities.
Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshooting issues to ensure
efficiency.
Assist with database migrations across platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to
services.
Support data center projects and migration efforts, using best practices like Oracle
Cloud, AWS, or Azure, and on-premise environments.
Implement and maintain security protocols, access controls, and compliance
requirements.
Document database configurations, procedures, and support processes for effective
team collaboration.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Comp Sci, Engg, IT, or related with at least 60
months of experience. Salary ranges between $133,869.00 to $136,000.00/year. Send
