About the Role

As a Digital Content Marketing Intern, you’ll focus on creating compelling content that resonates with Sloyd's target audience: small indie developers, 3D artists, and 3D printing hobbyists. Your goal will be to capture their attention and inspire action.

Your responsibilities will include creating social media posts, images, and videos for use in both organic and paid campaigns. You’ll be responsible for:

• Drafting engaging content with a casual, approachable tone
• Editing videos from screen captures, writing scripts, and potentially recording voiceovers
• Designing marketing visuals using traditional and AI tools
• Posting content on various platforms, tracking performance, and using data to refine messaging and marketing strategies

Location & Compensation

• Paid internship (details can be discussed after applying)
• Duration: June to October (flexibility available)
• Part-time (50-100% commitment)
• Remote, with occasional in-person meetings in Austin
• Candidates must be based in Texas or studying in Texas and able to attend meetings in Austin during the summer months

Requirements

• Current Junior or Senior student in Marketing, Communication, or related field, or recent graduate
• Strong written communication skills in English
• Intermediate video editing and image design skills
• Active social media user (personal or professional)
• Comfortable using analytics to guide decision-making
• Interest in video games, pop culture, and 3D art is a plus
