dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving independence and inclusion in their communities. Key Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional: - Assist individuals with personal hygiene , grooming, bathing, toileting, and dressing
- Support with meal preparation , feeding, and dietary needs
- Help maintain a clean and safe living environment , including basic housekeeping tasks
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed
- Follow individual support plans (ISPs) and behavior support strategies
- Administer medications and document according to guidelines (training provided)
- Build positive, trusting relationships with the individuals you serve
What We’re Looking for in a Direct Support Professional: - Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required – we provide training!
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to become a company driver
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
