You'll coach and mentor a team of hourly distribution associates to meet business goals, while continually looking for ways to improve processes to meet internal and external customer expectations. You're a Champion for safety, providing a safe and controlled work environment for distribution personnel while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. **Responsibilities:** + Provide support, direction and guidance to processes ensuring internal and external demands are met. + Lead and develop a team, coach, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. While working in partnership with HR. + Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and customer satisfaction opportunities for the area or department. + Evaluate and manage equipment, systems, and facility to improve efficiencies and workflow. Develop plans for resource utilization. + Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Identifies discrepancies as they arise, uses problem solving abilities to investigate deviations and complaints. + Manage KPIs, payroll accuracy, and performance appraisals. + Prioritizes work assignments and handles multiple tasks to ensure all distribution assigned tasks are completed as scheduled. + Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the overall needs of the team and company. **Qualifications:** + HS diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred + At least 1-3 years distribution supervision experience. + Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. + Experience with the implementation of lean distribution including 5S and facilitating Kaizan events. + Ability to manage projects outside of the realm of normal duties. + Strong work ethic and reliability. + Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. + Ability to follow directions and work in a team. **Skills:** + **Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment with competing priorities.** + **Critical Thinker, who seeks out areas of opportunity and finds solutions to problems.** + **Effective interpersonal & communication skills (written, verbal and in person)** + **Servant Leadership, can coach, mentor, and develop teams to achieve both professional and business goals.** + **Possesses high degree of confidentiality and professional integrity.** **Leading with our values at the forefront; Truth, Transparency, Teamwork & Trust.** + Excellent MS Office software skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word. PowerBI experience a plus.
