Young & Alexander Co., L.P.A. – Established niche defense litigation firm

January/February 2026 start | Training & Mentorship

We are a stable, long-standing, profitable, two-shareholder insurance defense firm with offices in Dayton and Cincinnati. Due to sustained growth, we are adding one entry-level associate to each office.

You will:

· Gain hands-on experience in premises liability, auto/trucking, construction, fire, subrogation, and coverage cases

· Assist with depositions, written discovery, motions, mediations, and trials under partner supervision

· Work directly with shareholders and experienced associates

· Receive experienced paralegal and legal secretarial staff support

We need:

· 0-2 years Ohio civil or criminal litigation experience (law clerk/internship/recent grads also ok)

· Strong research, writing and analytical skills

· Eagerness to learn and manage increasing docket independence over time

· Ohio bar in good standing (or eligible)

Compensation & Benefits:

· $85,000 – $95,000 base salary (negotiable based on experience/trial record)

This is a long-term career position with a clear path to senior associate status or future shareholder consideration (4–8 years), depending on the successful candidate’s preferred career track and experience.
