Job Description

Venice Room in Monterey Park, CA is looking for one fast food cook/bar back/busser to join our 20 person strong team. We are located on 2428 S Garfield Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food preparation areas, surfaces and utensils
• Run cooking equipment such as grills, deep fryers and griddles
• Prepare, cut and wash foods prior to cooking
• Stock workstations as needed
• Backup bartender
• Refill low and empty and bar stocks
• Clean and replenish glass supply
• Restock ice
• Clear tables of dishes, cups, utensils and drinkware after each customer
• Maintain a clean and sanitary bussing station and restrooms

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail
• Food handling certifications that apply
• Proactive at identifying and completing work needs
• Ability to assess station needs and act accordingly
• Dedication to working as a team towards one goal
• Experience as a busser is a plus
• Good communication skills
