Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL) Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SIL test cases to validate embedded software functionality in a simulated environment.
• Reuse model‑based test data to evaluate algorithm behavior and ensure alignment with design expectations.
• Run unit tests using GoogleTest for C/C++ code verification (including integration into CI where applicable).

Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain HIL test environments to validate real‑time embedded control systems.
• Execute HIL test cases, simulate system behaviors, and analyze real‑time system responses.
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams to identify defects, diagnose issues, and verify fixes.
• Support hardware‑software integration, including mapping of I/O signals and interfacing with ECUs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in embedded systems development, testing, or validation.
• Hands‑on experience with GoogleTest (gTest) for C/C++ unit testing.
• Familiarity with SIL/HIL concepts used for validating control software before real‑world deployment.
• Understanding of embedded software, control systems, and real‑time behaviors.
