About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Household Assistan t to support the day-to-day operations of a private home in Bryn Mawr, PA.
This hands-on role combines light housekeeping, personal assistant support, and pet care, helping ensure the household runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Light housekeeping and daily tidying of living spaces
Laundry and ironing
Light meal preparation (e.g., assembling breakfast, simple lunches, prepping ingredients)
Walking and feeding two dogs; prepping dog food
Running errands (e.g., groceries, pharmacy, dry cleaning, prescriptions)
Managing petty cash and household tips
Overseeing and coordinating with regular household vendors and service providers (e.g., cleaners, landscapers, pool service)
Organizational projects (e.g., tidying closets, organizing the pantry)
General household upkeep (note: deep cleaning is handled by a professional service)
Qualifications
Dependable, discreet, and respectful of household privacy
Proactive with a sunny disposition and a can-do attitude
Able to anticipate needs and work independently
Comfortable around dogs; prior experience with pet care is a plus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Basic cooking and meal prep ability
Experience managing household services or vendors is a plus
