Founded in 1985, Queen of Peace Center (QOPC) is a $10 million-dollar nonprofit organization serving more than 1,300 St. Louis women and their children and families each year. We are focused exclusively on providing family-centered behavioral healthcare. Our unique model addresses the full continuum of needs for those impacted by substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and trauma by providing treatment, prevention, education, and housing.

One of eight federated agencies of Catholic Charities of St. Louis, QOPC is a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and has its own Board of Directors. We are licensed by Missouri Department of Mental Health and accredited by the Council on Accreditation.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsible for facilitating services and program oversight at Queen of Peace Center Housing Program. Must maintain an honest, ongoing communication with Queen of Peace Center.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain an environment which is drug-free, non-violent, treatment focused and respectful.
  • Ensure a clean and efficient environment throughout the building which is compliant with NARR, City and State regulations.
  • Monitor performance and openly communicate with Housing Director.
  • Ensure all residents’ records are up to date and person centered.
  • Order supplies and submit house bills to Housing Director daily.
  • Create, schedule and facilitate groups including weekly house meetings.
  • Keep up to date records on daily census and provide to the billing department in a timely manner.
  • Collect and document resident rent and program payments if applicable.
  • Conduct fire, tornado and earthquake drills quarterly.
  • Report all emergencies to Director of Housing immediately and complete incident reports.
  • Audit the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and ensure compliance.
  • Provide direct supervision of all housing program staff including Behavioral Health Technicians and Peer Specialist.
  • Assist with house coverage which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and after hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree and/or MAADC I or II; lived experience with substance use with at least 2 years in recovery
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; Missouri resident requires a Class E license
  • Ability to manage time well and finish tasks in an efficient manner
  • Demonstrate leadership and professionalism
