Job Description

Our HVAC company is looking for a problem solver with a can-do attitude and a proven record of install experience in the HVAC field. You are an accomplished HVAC install tech that will meet clients at their home or place of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and safely install a variety of HVAC equipment. You’ll also be responsible for installing indoor air quality and control systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role, as you’ll be working with industry professionals and customers. You have the technical skills to read and apply blueprints, codes, and manuals to any job, and are comfortable with using HVAC power and hand tools to get the job done. • Communicate with clients on how to properly use and maintain their new equipment
• Lay out and connect electrical wiring using hand tools according to the wiring diagram
• Check electrical testing equipment to check all electrical circuits and components
• Connect pipes or tubing from the equipment to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source
• Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems
• Arriving at work on time
• Preparation before the job starts
• Speaking courteously to customers
• Attention to safety
• Properly pressurizing and evacuating systems
• Proper commissioning upon completion
• Complete paperwork and communication with the office

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certificate
• Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections
• Earned HVAC school degree and 2+ years experience working in the field as an installer
• Candidate is comfortable working in attics and crawl spaces
• 3+ years of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience
• Clean driving record
• Reliable Transportation
• Good attitude
• Good communication skills
