Hybrid Accounts Payable Specialist (Experienced)

 

  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable expertise gained in either an office or manufacturing environment
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
  • Flexible scheduling on in office days
  • Pay is $58,240
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • Full-time, permanent W-2 employee
  • Full benefits

  • Located in the Dane, Wisconsin area

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

  • Accurately process and maintain records of vendor invoices, payments, and AP transactions in the ERP system
  • Match invoices, packing slips, and POs for accuracy; reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage vendor accounts, 1099 filings, credit card transactions, petty cash, and AP reports
  • Support audits, apply cash to AR invoices, and assist with customer account maintenance
  • Contribute to documentation, cross-training, and provide backup for switchboard, mailroom, and order processing

 

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and strong Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Strong math, organizational, and communication skills
  • Consistent work history with a desire for long-term employment
  • A US citizen or possess a Green Card
  • A residence within 45 minutes
