Bluffton University is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual for the position of graduate assistant for men’s soccer. This position offers the opportunity to work with a competitive NCAA Division III program in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC). The candidate must have a strong foundation in soccer along with effective communication, organizational and supervisory skills with the ability to show mature, responsible and professional leadership. The successful candidate will embrace and promote the mission of Bluffton University and be the primary assistant soccer coach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in providing coaching leadership during trainings and during matches. Recruiting
and related responsibilities (i.e. phone calls, on and off campus athletic recruiting).
Other duties might include but are not limited to the following:
The director of athletics will serve as the supervisor for secondary activities that can be added to fill out a GA’s load assignment throughout the year. Potential secondary responsibilities could be but are not limited to the following: facility duties, assist with event management, intramural program supervision and sports information assignments. These additional assignments are subject to qualifications and availability and will be determined by the director of athletics in consultation with respective head coaches.
Professional in all environments whether actively leading the team or being a representative of the program.
DEGREE OBTAINED:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Social Work (MSW)
Compensation:
Full tuition waiver with competitive stipend and room and board.
