Doral Health & Wellness is seeking a highly skilled  Ultrasound Technologist (also referred to as an Ultrasound Technician, Sonographer, or Ultrasound Tech) to join our growing team in Brooklyn, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated diagnostic medical sonographer with strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.

• Pay Rate: $40–$50 per hour (based on experience as an ultrasound technician or diagnostic medical sonographer).

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations (general, vascular, cardiac, and specialty imaging).
• As an experienced ultrasound technologist, prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort during every step of the ultrasound process.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Work as a sonographer in collaboration with physicians to interpret and analyze imaging results.
• Support both general and specialty cases, including those requiring a cardiac sonographer or diagnostic medical sonographer skill set.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Ensure detailed documentation of all ultrasound technician procedures and patient data.
• Contribute to a supportive clinical team environment, sharing knowledge as a skilled sonographer ultrasound professional.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technologist or diagnostic medical sonographer program.
• Current certification as an Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer.
• Proven experience in multiple modalities, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and as a cardiac sonographer.
• Strong technical skills in operating ultrasound systems and imaging software.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to adapt between roles as an ultrasound technologist, sonographer ultrasound, and ultrasound tech depending on department needs.
