Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Security Engineer to join our infrastructure and security team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network environments across on-premises data centers and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewalls, F5 load balancers, AWS cloud infrastructure, and data center builds. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy secure network architectures for both on-premises and cloud environments. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Checkpoint firewalls and F5 load balancers to ensure optimal performance and security. Lead and support data center build-outs, including network cabling, rack setup, and hardware configuration. Implement and maintain AWS networking and security services, including VPCs, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, and VPNs. Monitor network traffic and security alerts, responding to incidents and performing root cause analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure connectivity between cloud and on-prem environments. Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, security policies, and procedures. Strong hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewall administration. Proficiency in F5 BIG-IP configuration and management (LTM, GTM, ASM). Solid understanding of AWS networking and security services. Experience with data center infrastructure builds and migrations. Familiarity with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, VPNs, and IPsec. Familiarity with automation tools for network configuration. Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001). Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
