Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Wide Format DTF Printing Operator to join our Warehouse Apparel team. This position involves operating, maintaining, and ensuring the quality of wide format DTF printing machines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with large-format printers and direct-to-film (DTF) equipment, ensuring high-quality production that aligns with job specifications and timelines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Operate and maintain wide format DTF printing equipment to produce quality print jobs as per job tickets.
Prepare materials, set up machines, and conduct quality checks against proofs before starting production.
Monitor print quality and machine performance, proactively preventing defects or spoilage during the printing process.
Maintain accurate production records using the company’s software system.
Organize and transfer finished products to designated storage or shipping areas.
Keep workstations and equipment clean, orderly, and maintained.
Perform routine maintenance and occasional repairs on equipment.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Support production operations by handling additional tasks as required.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications :
Previous experience operating wide format DTF printing equipment or similar digital printing machines (such as UV printers, solvent printers, or screen-printing equipment).
Familiarity with the apparel printing industry, specifically within warehouse settings.
Experience with laminating, mounting, and other finishing processes is preferred.
Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a solid track record of safely operating high-tech production equipment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends, as required by business needs.
Strong organizational skills and proficiency with production software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
