Job Description

The Staff Pad has partnered with Keeley Construction to identify a dynamic Project Director to lead large-scale, complex water treatment and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) region. About the Role:

As Project Director, you will oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, from business development and pre-construction through project delivery and closeout. This is a leadership role focused on building strong relationships with clients, engineers, and industry partners while ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and safety across all projects. You will also play a critical role in driving the strategic growth of Keeley’s Texas Civil Business Unit within the DFW region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Business Unit Leader to develop and execute strategic initiatives targeting water treatment infrastructure projects.

  • Lead pre-construction planning, estimating strategies, and operational execution.

  • Build and sustain key relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to position Keeley for future opportunities.

  • Provide leadership to project teams to ensure excellence in project performance, safety, quality, scheduling, and financial results.

  • Manage owner relations and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Champion recruiting efforts to attract top project management and field talent.

  • Collaborate with the leadership team on long-term strategic goals for the region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years in heavy civil, structural concrete, or water/wastewater treatment construction.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale ($50M+) self-perform projects.

  • Expertise with project management and scheduling platforms (Primavera P6 preferred); familiarity with HCSS estimating software is a plus.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and lead diverse teams.

  • Strategic mindset with strong business development acumen.
