The Risk Management department of Acadian Ambulance has an available full-time position for a Records Production Clerk.

This entry-level role within the Compliance Department reports directly to the Compliance Supervisor. This role processes entry-level medical and billing records requests and incoming patient inquiries.

This is an in-office position with a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8am - 5pm. No work from home or remote options available.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Answer & return phone calls about records requests;
• Review and respond to emails regarding records requests;
• Create requests in the internal Records Production tracking system;
• Process entry-level records production requests;
• Communicate with requestors as needed to obtain proper patient demographic information;
• Complete a thorough search and document retrieval from multiple platforms;
• Create certification pages and invoices for records;
• Complete records affidavits;
• Complete proper notes and documentation in the internal Records Production tracking system;
• Assist in processing records production payments as assigned;
• Answer and process incoming patient inquiries via phone and email;
• Other Records Production and Patient Inquiry duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication and customer relation skills
• Ability to adhere to productivity goals and departmental guidelines
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and work independently
• Ability to multitask
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Understands HIPAA guidelines
