Department: Religious Education
Reports to: Leia Vranes

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Support First Penance/First Communion preparation
Support Confirmation preparation
Complete registration checklists
Record class attendance and behavioral issues
Verify compliance with Safe Environment Certification
Support the development and functioning of the RE Team
Prepare weekly supplies for the catechists
Develop materials for inclusion in parish bulletin and social media

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Competence in Microsoft Office Suite Software
Prefer completion of Alpha Course or team training
Ability to work with youth and families on their journey of discipleship and outreach
Ability to serve as a personal contact with parents of confirmation candidates through their preparation journey

Education and Experience
Require minimum of high school diploma or GED with one year of administrative or comparable experience
Earn Certification in Archdiocesan Safe Environment Training
