Doug Aitken Workshop is hiring architects and designers with a strong creative and artistic design sense and high-level skills at renderings and 3D visualizations in Los Angeles.
Goal: to work on the development of new projects, from conceptual visualization to fully realized artworks and art/architectural projects. Projects range from wall sculptures and immersive installations to architectural structures, pavilions and exhibition designs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural visualization and rendering, with the ability to create high-quality photorealistic representations that bring complex ideas to life. This role requires expertise in digital modeling, high-level rendering, and animation, along with a refined visual sensibility. The candidate should be able to conduct visual research, create mood boards and collages, and translate conceptual ideas into clear and compelling imagery. Additionally, they should be capable of producing full drawing sets, presentation diagrams, and decks to support the development of final artwork designs. This person must be an intuitive problem solver with strong aesthetic instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative studio.
