The Restaurant Server is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, guiding them through their dining experience with professionalism, and ensuring their satisfaction. This role involves taking orders efficiently, delivering meals in a timely manner, and maintaining an atmosphere of hospitality that aligns with our company's standards.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To - Engage with guests throughout their visit, ensuring their needs are met.
- Promptly and professionally address guest concerns.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Express gratitude to guests for their visit and encourage their return.
- Maintain deep menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, daily specials, and beverage pairings.
- Perform additional duties such as opening/closing tasks, restocking, and side work.
- Actively participate in department meetings, trainings, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Communicate supply needs to the kitchen and management for seamless service.
- Comply with all Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) laws and regulations in California.
Compensation & Benefits - Pay: $16.50 per hour plus gratuity averaging $35.00 to $65.00 per hour

Requirements Visit to learn more about our resort. - Minimum of 1 year experience as a Restaurant Server, preferably in fine dining
- Wine knowledge is a plus
- A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to contributing to departmental success.
- Strong communication skills to engage with guests and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to effectively communicate meal requirements, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment.
- Flexibility in handling different roles within the restaurant.
- Willingness to follow policies, procedures, and restaurant service standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems and accuracy in order processing.
- Available to work weekends and holidays and start at 3PM.
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
In order to perform the duties and requirement for this job, you must have the following physical abilities:
- Constant walking, standing and repetitive use of hands, arms and legs
- Frequent carrying of bottles, tray with drinks and plate(s) of food, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling and reaching below, above and at shoulder level.
- Occasional bending and twisting of neck, power grasping
You must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop and reach; lift and carry equipment and supplies; constantly walk and stand for long periods (up to 4 hours) and ability to work in a fast paced environment; walking over uneven ground and up and down stairs to service guests with or without reasonable accommodation. See and read a POS and printed material with or without vision aids. Hear and understand speech at normal levels.
