FIELD OF SCREAMS 20TH ANNIVERSARY (Scare Actor Role):

Do you have what it takes to bring nightmares to life? The Field of Screams is seeking high energy performers of all types to join our 2025 cast for our biggest season yet. We're looking for individuals who can fully embody terrifying characters, stay in role for extended periods, improvise on the fly, and deliver unforgettable frights night after night. Whether you're a seasoned actor or just have a passion for all things Halloween, this is your chance to become part of a legendary haunt.

• October 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31
• November 1

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Delivering high-energy, in-character performances throughout each night
• Startling and scaring guests safely using techniques taught in training
• Remaining in full character while visible to the public
• Using body language, movement, and sound to bring haunt characters to life
• Working effectively as part of a team to maintain atmosphere and pacing
• Using props and noisemakers to enhance the scare zone or scene
• Maintaining professional behavior, safety awareness, and scene cleanliness
• Engaging with guests in a manner that elevates their experience while staying fully in character
• Adhering to all company policies, including safety, conduct, and operational guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 16 years of age or older (18+ may require a background check per policy)
• Must be available for all scheduled training, rehearsals, and performance nights
• Ability to perform in extreme conditions (fog, darkness, flashing lights, varying temperatures)
• Must be able to wear full costumes, masks, and/or heavy makeup for extended hours
• Strong vocal or physical endurance
• Acting or haunted house experience preferred, but not required
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to take direction

COMPENSATION:

Hourly based on age, experience, or previous pay rate. Returning or highly experienced cast members may earn higher wages. All employee wages will be issued at the end of the season.
