The smelter processes copper concentrate primarily from our company's Arizona copper mines and is the most significant source of sulfuric acid for our North American leaching operations. Arizona's Globe-Miami historic mining district offers natural beauty and a rich mining heritage. Here, our employees and their families can connect with the outdoors and enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere.  VisitGlobe-Miami.com ( to learn more. **What You Will Do** + Perform a variety of patrol, security, emergency response and customer service duties at assigned location. + Greet and log in all visitors and vendors at entrance gate + Notify appropriate personnel or department of arrival + Direct visitors and vendors to destination + Enforce company policies and procedures + Perform frequent patrols of the property + Walk, bicycles, or drives vehicle on irregularly scheduled rounds of property + Observe conditions of equipment, grounds and facilities + Pick up litter or debris as needed, or arranges clean-up with maintenance crews + Report damages or areas in need of repair to the Maintenance Supervisor + Conduct surveillance of locations or areas in which vandalism or criminal activities have been noted + Assist with and trained for emergency situations + Collaborate with police officers in the prevention of crime + Work with fire response units for fire suppression, and with medical emergency response units in the event of emergency situations, at the assigned location + Provide basic emergency medical response (e.g. performs CPR, gives basic first aid) when needed + Perform other duties as required **What You Bring To Freeport** + Current CPR and first aid certifications, as required by specific site location + Skilled in responding appropriately to emergency and conflict situations + Knowledge of site rules, regulations, policies and procedures + Knowledgeable of the site topography and locations of emergency equipment and access points + Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing **Preferred Qualifications** + High School diploma or GED **What We Offer You** The estimated pay range for this role is currently  **$15.50 - $21.00/hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
