Forklift Operators are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, labeling, stacking, staging, and transporting products into and out of distribution center/warehouse. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other associates and work productively with little supervision.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Responsibilities includes safely loading, unloading, sorting, staging, labeling and transporting of products into and out of the warehouse using propane or electric powered industrial forklift trucks equipped with lifting devices.
• Responsible for verifying paperwork, product, product count size and count of pallets, carrier, correct labels, packing list location.
• Corrects issues when found.
• Arranges cartons on pallets and loads trucks keeping in mind size, weight, height, and other characteristics.
• May also perform inventory control and return product functions.
• Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other Associates to do the same.
• Provides and inspires outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by Warehouse Management.

Required Skills

• At least 1 year of stand up forklift experience preferred.

Pay and Shift info

• $18.50 per hour
• First Shift 6:00AM-2:30PM
