Summary

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa is in search of an organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Attendant to join our Purchasing team. In this role, you'll be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our storeroom by managing inventory, logging, and releasing items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately log, release, and inventory items in the storeroom area to maintain precise records.
• Ensure the storeroom is organized and items are easily accessible.
• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds as needed to manage inventory.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to fulfill requests and maintain inventory levels.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to support the storeroom operations.
• Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to management.
• Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe storeroom environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Open and flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Forklift and p allet jack handling experience preferred
• Knowledge of food products, and food handling safety preferred
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience in a storeroom or inventory management role is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for logging and tracking inventory.
