Tax Accountant

An established and well-regarded CPA firm is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their growing team. The firm is known for its supportive culture and strong client relationships, offering an alternative to the intense structure of national or regional firms.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately preparing and reviewing a diverse portfolio of complex tax returns, including entities (business) and individual returns.
• Preparing and reviewing compilations and reviews, with opportunities to assist on select audit engagements as needed.
• Performing in-depth tax research on various technical issues and translating findings into practical recommendations and proactive planning advice for clients.
• Maintaining consistent and diligent client communication and follow-up, ensuring an exceptional level of service delivery.
• Managing special projects and supporting clients with onsite work at their locations when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of recent public accounting experience encompassing both attest/assurance (compilations/reviews) and tax services.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks experience is strongly preferred).
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proven problem-solving abilities.
