Technical Skills
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or similar
- Strong understanding of responsive design, design systems, and component-based design
- Familiarity with front-end technologies for collaboration: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular
- Experience designing for accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance)
- Exposure to user testing, A/B testing, and analytics tools such as Hotjar and Google Analytics
Functional Skills
- Proven experience in modernizing legacy enterprise applications (web and/or mobile)
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and elegant user experiences
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to justify design decisions using data and user feedback
- Proficient in user-centered design thinking and problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Evaluate & Analyze: Review existing UI/UX designs and workflows to identify usability issues and opportunities for modernization
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business users to understand goals, needs, and pain points
- Tech Team Partnership: Work closely with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and scalable
- Design Execution: Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs
- Modernization Strategy: Develop a UX/UI roadmap aligned with current trends and adaptable to future needs
- Design Standards & Systems: Build or refine UI design systems to ensure consistency across applications
- Advocacy: Promote design thinking across teams and educate stakeholders on UX best practices
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies to enhance the design process
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise-level design systems
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development environments
- Background in usability testing and data-driven design decisions
