Job Description

Description
The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments at our Livermore location.
Responsibilities Include
Shipping: accurately pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders for delivery or pickup
Assistance in loading the delivery truck
Receiving shipments, recording them into inventory log, and maintaining inventory through audits
Positive and helpful in communication to supervisors, sales staff, co-workers, and customers about coordination of deliveries/pick-up.
Safe and efficient forklift operation (required maintenance of certification)
Performance of vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor
Assistance in keeping facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently
Other duties as assigned
Schedule
8-hour shift
Day shift Only
Monday to Friday
Work Location:
On-Site, In person
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multi-task
Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision
Prior forklift experience
Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
