Job Description

We’re seeking a motivated Emerging Professional in Architecture who has a passion for design excellence and is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a wide range of innovative projects to join our client's team in their Dallas office. Candidates must have a NAAB accredited degree in Architecture and 3-5 years of professional work experience in architecture. 

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively on both large projects and smaller projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documents maintaining a high level of quality of work product.
  • Produce detailed documents meeting specific standards, building codes, and guidelines.
  • Communicate with firm's project architects, managers, designers, and principals, and outside consultants.

  • Ability to both work independently and carry out assignments within given parameters, and know when to ask for guidance.
  • Willingness to take initiative to develop options and solve problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks, while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Desire to learn and grow, and grow into positions with more responsibility and opportunity.
Skill Sets
  • Some technical knowledge of building systems and products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent drawing skills and proficiency with design software -  Archicad preferred, Autocad or Revit; and familiarity with SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar packages (desired).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with multifamily, hospitality and/or Senior Living project preferred
  • Must have a NAAB accredited Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture
  • On path to licensure in architecture
  • 3-5 years of architecture experience
