Summit Hills is now accepting applications for a Hair Stylist to provide professional salon services to our members.

We are seeking an independent contractor with a valid & current board-certified license to work at our Retirement Community providing exceptional customer service.

What you’ll do:

• Schedule appointments according to member needs.
• Provide quality service to meet individual member needs through listening and providing suggestions/guidance in accordance with professional standards.
• Maintain positive working relationships with members, family members, staff, and management.
• Generate billing sheets and reports to provide the management team.
• Maintain a safe environment for members and staff.
• Ensure personal work area and salon meet and exceed State Board Regulations.
• Respond professionally to customer service issues and promptly address complaints.
• Communicate with Management regarding issues and needs.
• Adheres to the Residents' Rights policy.
• Adheres to policies and procedures regarding environmental/infection precautions related to the Spa & Salon.
• Adheres to policies and procedures regarding Resident Abuse, Neglect or Misappropriation of Resident Property.

Requirements:

• Valid & current board-certified license.
• Two to five years of experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience with seniors desired.
