Job Description

Nestled within the scenic Phoenix Marriott Resort Tempe at The Buttes, Narande Spa offers a tranquil retreat where guests can unwind and rejuvenate. Our spa features a full range of massage, facial, body, and nail services, complemented by amenities such as a dry sauna, shower facilities, and access to the resort’s outdoor jacuzzi spa. Location Information:
  • The Narande Spa is located at The Buttes Marriott Resort in Tempe
  • 2000 Westcourt Way, Tempe, AZ 85282
  • Between Broadway & Southern, off of 48th Street.

Position Summary:
The Nail Technician provides professional nail care services to resort guests and members in accordance with Narande Spa’s high standards of service and cleanliness. This is a part-time/on-call position requiring day, evening, weekend, and holiday availability based on spa operations and guest demand.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform a full range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and deluxe treatments, following proper sanitation and Arizona State Board standards.
  • Deliver services consistent with the Narande Spa menu such as:
    • Deluxe Manicure 
    • Deluxe Pedicure
    • Essential Manicure
    • Essential Pedicure
    • Add-ons such as paraffin, gel polish, or French tips.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
  • Ensure nail stations and tools are sanitized and restocked between services.
  • Adhere to spa protocols, safety procedures, and service standards.
  • Promote spa retail products and service upgrades when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate product usage and inventory records.
  • Support team operations by assisting with spa upkeep and guest flow.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Assist Spa Manager/Director with special events or seasonal promotions.
  • Participate in training sessions and spa meetings as required.
  • Provide spa tours for potential guests when requested.
  • Support fellow spa team members when available.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Education: Current Arizona Nail Technician or Cosmetology license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience preferred (resort or luxury spa experience a plus).
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong guest service and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of nail care, safety, and sanitation standards.
    • Retail or product sales experience preferred.
