As a Security Professional Armed Government Patrol in Huntington Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents. This armed post requires you to carry out your duties with professionalism, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to incidents as needed. What You’ll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for any suspicious activity or potential threats and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and permissions as required for entry to restricted areas.
  • Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences promptly and accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as required during emergencies or incidents.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • An Armed Guard Card or License is required; having an Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or License is preferred.
